Welcome to Troy University's online Financial Aid Counseling for admitted and returning students. Completing this information is an annual requirement to receive an award letter. This new procedure includes all the procedures and agreements formerly contained in the Troy University Certification Form as well as the loan Entrance Interview. In combining these forms we are able to reduce forms for you and provide a more secure method of sending the information to our office.

The financial aid office is a centralized system of three offices located at the main campus in Troy with branch offices in Dothan and Montgomery. The Troy Campus Financial Aid Office is the central financial aid office processing aid for the Troy Campus, the Phenix City Campus and all sites and locations outside the state of Alabama. The Dothan and Montgomery Campuses primarily process financial aid for students attending those campuses.

Information is provided on applying, receiving, and continuing to receive financial aid. Also important student loan entrance requirements are met through this process. It covers when you should expect to repay, what forms to complete when you are unable to repay, and your rights and responsibilities. It is import to stay in touch with your lender/servicer and to keep records of your student loans. 

This form is not used to update your address or any other demographic information. You must update your address with the Records or Admissions Office at your site.

The name and social security number used on your FAFSA must match those items on this form or this form will be rejected. The name and social security number used on your FAFSA must match the US Social Security Administration database. It is important that you be admitted and that your name and social security number match those items in the database.

Each section concludes with questions that you will need to answer correctly before you can continue. You should receive an e-mail acknowledgement of the submission of your form. However, not all forms can be accepted if the data you provide does not match the data at Troy (name and SS#).
