Blocked Networks
When attacks on Troy University network services occur the IT department may be required to block certain IP addresses and IP ranges from accessing our network. Included below is a link to a list of networks that have been administratively blocked from Troy University networks:

Network Authenticated Login
Impulse is a Network Access Control system designed for authenticating login access to the Troy University Network. Troy University, in accordance with compliance regulations, will require a login to the network in order to gain access to the Internet, e-mail, and other online resources.

Over 650 staff and faculty members currently utilize the Troy University local area network at the Troy Campus, along with over 6000 students, on a daily basis. Additionally, over 27,000 students access e-mail accounts, Web Express, Library and other campus technologies located on the Troy Campus network.
Current WAN Services include:
- AT&T 100 Megabit MetroE connection for Residential Housing
- Alabama SuperComputer Authority 23 Megabit MetroE connection with Content Filtering for Academic and Administrative Computing.
- AT&T 100 Megabit MetroE connection for Server Testing & Implementation
- DS-3 Microwave connection connecting Troy Campus with Phenix City Campus for Internet and Video Conferencing.
