Troy University provides all current faculty, staff, and students with a licensed copy of McAfee anti-virus software. You must authenticate using your e-mail username and password to download the software.

You must uninstall any existing anti-virus software before installing this software. Failure to uninstall existing software will result in a conflict of anti-virus software that may cause your system to become unstable and crash.

Check Your Version before installing.

To remove existing anti-virus software please do the following:

1. Download the new anti-virus software (Save to Desktop)
2. Unplug the computer from the network
3. Uninstall the existing software
4. Reboot the computer (after uninstall is complete)
5. Install the new anti-virus software
6. Reconnect to the network and check for updates

Troy University is licensed to install the Microsoft Office Suite on University owned computers for faculty and staff.

Students must purchase their own copy of the Microsoft Office Suite.

The Microsoft Office Suite is not available for download. It must be installed by Help Desk staff. Please contact your local Help Desk for assistance.
