Your new e-mail account is only one component in a larger feature set that is included with your Office 365 account. When connecting a desktop client or mobile device to your account you must add your account as a Microsoft Exchange account and not as a standard e-mail account. Failure to do this on Android systems may create a conflict with your old e-mail settings.
If autodiscovery does not work then you may need to add the Exchange server or Server address: outlook.office365.com
