Video Conferencing/Webinar Hosting

The Microsoft Teams services are primarily used for video conferencing and presentations. In addition, university staff have also used the services for hosting Webinars for internal and external audiences.

The services are very flexible. Presenters can choose to only share their desktop or they may also choose to connect an external video camera or Webcam. Participants may call in via telephone, VoIP, or simply use the text-chat capabilities. Recording options for presenters are also available upon request.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is cloud-based team collaboration software that is part of the Office 365 suite of applications. The core capabilities in Microsoft Teams include business messaging, calling, video meetings and file sharing. This desktop app can be installed to enable additional features of the Microsoft Teams application.
