Video Conferencing/Webinar Hosting
The WebEx service is primarily used for video conferencing and presentations. In addition, university staff have also used the service for hosting Webinars for internal and external audiences.
The service is very flexible. Presenters can choose to only share their desktop or they may also choose to connect an external video camera or Webcam. Participants may call in via telephone, VoIP, or simply use the text-chat capabilities. Recording options for presenters are also available upon request.
Account Information
A WebEx account is required in order to access the system.
To request a WebEx account, please submit a helpdesk ticket at https://helpdesk.troy.edu After logging in, create a new ticket and select WebEx Meeting Center for the problem type. To log into WebEx, please click the link below.
